How to Get Involved

  • Follow Our Marsh Counts on Facebook! 
  • Conduct a solo sweep with data collection (see Litter Journal webpage) and join Our Marsh Counts events 
  • Stock your car and/or bag with reusable water bottles, coffee cups, cutlery and shopping bags to reduce your use of single-use plastic  
  • Ditch the plastic in your kitchen – purchase glass containers and use bees wrap, silicone covers or aluminum foil when covering leftover food 
  • Choose products with less packaging while shopping 
  • Support businesses that are using less plastic (and thank them!)
